There is a new running documentary set to be released this fall on the life of distance runner—and politician—Wesley Korir. The documentary has many Canadian connections. It is produced by Toronto-based media development and production company Storystream Creative. Additionally, Korir is married to Canadian Tarah Korir (nee McKay) and, before being elected to the Kenyan parliament, lived in Canada parts of the year. Korir is a staple on the Canadian race scene. He placed 4th in the 2014 Ottawa Marathon, with a time of 2:09:17.

Marathon Challenge [Video]
I recently came across this great PBS/NOVA documentary about what it takes—physically and mentally—for novice runners to make it through their first marathon. While it originally aired in 2007, its message continues to resonate.
